Kendrick Lamar Announced as 2020 Glastonbury Festival Headliner
With Thom Yorke, FKA twigs, Burna Boy & more also announced as new additions.

Kendrick Lamar is joining the 2020 Glastonbury Festival lineup as the headliner for Friday, June 26. The rapper is just one of the many new acts announced for the four-day engagement, standing alongside the likes of FKA twigs, Caribou, Burna Boy, Robyn and Thom Yorke.
With the cancellations and postponements of big music events like South by Southwest, Coachella and Ultra Music Festival Miami due to the coronavirus, the UK festival’s organizers explained that they are still pushing through with Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary — at least for the time being. “As things stand we are still working hard to deliver our 50th anniversary Festival in June and we are very proud of the bill that we have put together over the last year or so. No one has a crystal ball to see exactly where we will all be 15 weeks from now, but we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed that it will be here at Worthy Farm for the greatest show on Earth,” organizer Emily Eavis wrote on the festival’s website. “As always this is just a taste of what is to come, we plan to announce many more artists and attractions, area by area, over the coming weeks leading up to the full line-up in May.”
