Update: Over a year after being rumored, a first look at Riccardo Tisci’s Nike Shox TLs has finally been shared. Early product pages for the “Black” and “Habanero Red” colorways highlights what to expect from the collaboration. The pairs begin by maintaining their classic look before a removable ankle cuff system elevates it, both figuratively and literally. Fans of Tisci may recall a similar approach being used for his Air Force 1 Boot that took the sneaker to new heights back in 2014. The ankle cuff and metallic silver dubrae both feature the duo’s familiar co-branding while the tongue opts for a plain “TISCI” hit. Release is expected to take place very soon so stay tuned for updates, including a reveal of the third “White” pair.

Update: It’s been nearly 10 months since we first discussed a rumored collaboration between Riccardo Tisci and Nike on the Shox TL — one that would effectively bring the duo back together for the first time since 2018. Since then, premium co-branded leather goods designed by the two made an appearance. Now, new info regarding the long-awaited Shox TL project has popped up. Copenhagen-based retailer NAKED added three colorways of Riccardo Tisci x Nike Shox TL sneakers to its release calendar, with “Habanero Red,” “Black” and “White” involved. While it was listed as a March 1 drop, this was likely just a placeholder as neither Tisci nor Nike have offered any teasers of the project yet. Stay tuned for more updates and look for the three pairs to arrive soon via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $180 USD each.

Original Story: Rumors have surfaced that previous Givenchy and Burberry Creative Director Riccardo Tisci will reconnect with Nike for another collaboration, rekindling their relationship after pausing in 2018.

Riccardo Tisci and Nike are rumored to reunite for a Shox TL collaboration, which will likely include several colorways and a joint apparel collection.

Riccardo Tisci and Nike first launched their now-legendary Air Force 1 collection in 2014, marking the duo’s venture with four styles: the Air Force 1 Low, an Air Force 1 Mid with a jacquard woven ankle strap, an exaggerated Air Force 1 High, and a knee-high Air Force 1 Boot.

Released in black, white, and tan colorways, the pairs still fetch significantly over retail a decade later. The Air Force 1 collections were followed by reinterpretations of the Nike Air Cast 1 and NikeLab Dunk Lux High, later launching a floral training collection, several Flyknit sneakers, and a bright-colored boot version of the discontinued Air Zoom Legend.

The partners completed their collaborative venture in mid-2018, releasing a mid-top Air Max 97 and two star-covered Air Force 1 Highs. Riccardo Tisci and Nike haven’t released anything since, unofficially closing their doors for six years.

While no official information has been announced, the Riccardo Tisci x Nike Shox TL collaboration is expected to be released in Spring 2025 per a report from Brendan Dunne. Stay tuned for more information coming soon.
