Kevin Durant Stars in Kith for Team USA Basketball
The vintage-inspired collection will make its debut in Paris ahead of the Olympics.
Kevin Durant is the face of Kith’s new collection for the USA Basketball, a capsule celebrating the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
The collection spans hoodies, t-shirts, sweatpants, shorts and jackets – all of which reimagine classic Kith silhouettes with retro-inspired basketball graphics. A light gray crewneck features a red and blue colorblocked “USA” graphic, alongside a basketball and the Kith brand logo. The same graphic appears on the back of a crisp white hoodie.
The standout of the capsule is a leather jacket crafted out of Italian Nappa leather with a colorblocked design and sleeves adorned with stars and red and white stripes. In addition to the apparel, the collection will be accompanied by a line of caps from New Era.
On Friday, Durant joined Team USA for his first practice since straining his calf. The power forward is a three-time Olympic gold medalist as a part of Team USA Basketball, having played in the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Games.
The remainder of the Kith for USA Basketball 2024 collection will be unveiled on Saturday, July 20 at the brand’s pop-up in Paris, where they’ve transformed a Four Seasons hotel into a basketball court and concept space.
