adidas’ Superstar silhouette is poised for a resurgence this year with the release of collaborations with JJJJound, CLOT and Minecraft. Adding to its momentum, adidas has unveiled a handcrafted beaded edition of the Superstar — a unique iteration that builds on past adidas designs. The beaded aesthetic is familiar to adidas fans, having appeared in previous models like the CLOT Gazelle sneakers. To elevate the concept further, this shoe features a striking beaded embellishment covering half of the upper.
On the lateral side, sheer synthetic materials provide a sleek base, overlaid with an intricate beaded design that dominates this portion of the shoe. The beads create a shimmering pattern, with adidas’ signature Three Stripes subtly woven into the texture. The jet-black beaded sections stand out against the classic black-and-white colorway, a hallmark of the Superstar since its 1980s debut.
