Jonathan Lyndon Chase's Denim Dreamscape Takes Over Acne Studio
With a new capsule collection to match.

Acne Studios and Philly-based artist Jonathan Lyndon Chase are back together again, this time, with a new exhibition at their Green Street storefront to celebrate the launch of the aptly-titled “Acne Studio Loves Jonathan Lyndon Chase” capsule collection.
Now on view at the brand’s Green Street storefront through May 11, Heart Beat Rose features an array of soft sculptures, paintings and figurative works grounded in themes of queer intimacy and eroticism, taking the form of the artist’s beloved. In a marriage of fashion and art, a handful of works nod to Acne’s signature denim; hanging heart shaped pillows, for example, playfully resemble a pocket-clad behind.

The limited-edition, collaborative capsule consists of some of the brand’s most iconic pieces reimagined through Jonathan Chase’s artistic aperture, including the “1981” jeans and t-shirts, complemented by a range of homeware items.
Acne first tapped Lyndon Chase last year to create a domestic set for the brand’s Spring/Summer 2025 womenswear runway. Here, we see a return of the artist’s knack for the poignant and plush, alongside their exploration of “domestic tenderness,” public arenas and the how Black queer subjectivities unfold within these spaces.
Shop the capsule collection at select stores and online from late June 2025, and head to Acne Studios’ Green Street location to catch a glimpse of Heart Beat Rose.
