Netflix has released the official trailer for the second part of the Sakamoto Days anime series. The new trailer offers a glimpse into the continuing story following the initial eleven episodes that aired from January to March.
The new trailer showcases a significant escalation in the narrative that involves a three-way confrontation. This conflict involves Sakamoto and his allies, the elite assassin unit known as ORDER, and a group of dangerous death-row convicts set loose by X (Slur). The trailer also teases darker moments, indicating that Sakamoto’s family will be in danger, further raising the stakes for the former hitman.
Despite the looming threats and serious undertones, the trailer retains the series’ trademark humor. The previewed action sequences appear dynamic and over-the-top, one of which features a scene taking place on the collapsing Tokyo Tower.
